This is Zesus. He is a young adult - appx 4ish. His family moved and Zesus was left at the pound because they could not take him with. We cannot find anything wrong with him. He is friendly, gets along just fine with the other shelter dogs. He is house trained - he can go up to 8 hours in he kennel and never have an accident. He is great with all the volunteers, loves to take a walk and if your up to it - he loves to jog. The home we are looking for Zesus would be one where he is a house dog with an exercise area. Hound Mix: An adoptable dog in Paris, IL

Teddy is a young boy - appx 1-2 years old. And like a pup - he is so insecure that this point in his short life. He is a beautiful boy and just craves human reassurance. I am told that he is a "leaner". When he is being walked by a volunteer - he will stop walking, lean against the walker and beg to be petted. Teddy has scares on his ears from fly strikes. It appears he has not had a responsible owner so far. Teddy is dog friendly - we do not know how he would be with cats. He gets along great with all the volunteers. Walks great on a leash. He is not a jumper or barker. He is a very calm and very gentle. The home we are looking for Teddy would be one where he is a house dog with a fence in back yard where he could get the exercise that he requires. Scruffy appears to be a Maltese mix. His age is estimated to be around 8. He is blind in one eye and was abandoned in horrible condition. His coat was so matted he could barely move - but that did not seem to effect his personality. He is all forgiving. This little boy has the heart of a pup. Excellent foster care, regular meals - a good bath and grooming seemed all he required to perk up his personality. His foster family says he is just a wonderful boy. The vet believes my slight limp may have been caused by a broken leg sometime in my past. I feel I need to guard my family - so when a car comes to my house I bark to tell my family someone has stopped. When some one tells me to be quiet I know to stop barking. I am a very good boy!
